Day 1 is a nice little 55mile jaunt over towards the Ludlow and Knighton area. Its called Clunbury. Its tiny. Its in the middle of nowhere. You have probably never heard of it.
I have familiar roads out to Stourport-on-Severn. A nasty little kicker up to Heightington then my route meanders through the lanes skirting Cleobury Mortimer and Cleehill to Ludlow where I’ll probably take a food stop before another nasty kicker out of town into the wilderness again.
1600m of climbing. Up n down most of the day. Going to be tough one I think
