What are they?
Gravelton Events are self-supported gravel rides on the same day showcasing the best gravel routes in the West Midlands and surrounding areas. No entry fee, no frills, just turn up and ride. All I ask is you share your ride with everyone else afterwards.
History
It all started with a single 100 mile ride around the City of Birmingham in May 2023. I called it The Gravelton which has now expanded and become an annual calendar of West Midlands gravel routes, rides and events.
Who organises them?
My name is Paul and I’m a gravel rider just like you. I don’t like to call myself an organiser because that comes with some legal responsibilities 😉 I just plan the gravel route, tell you where and when it is and you’re good to go. Ride what you want, when you want, with who you want. All I ask is you tell us all about it afterwards so we foster a community feel.
Contribute
I often get asked if riders can contribute because there is no entry fee. I will always give my time for free but hosting my site does incur running costs. If you like what I do and want to help keep us rolling, please buy me a beer. Any contribution is appreciated, thank you.

Where are they?
Selfishly the routes are based around The Midlands where I live with some further afield but I’m always working on new routes and welcome any feedback or suggestions. You can’t beat a bit of local knowledge. Do you have a local favourite not featured? Just get in touch
