Hey. I did the Zoncolan two days ago with a 36×25 and googled to find some suggestions (how smart to do this after the trip…). In combination with 36C° i would definitely recommend an easier ratio 🙂
if you go to the pyrenees and like some tough climbing you may have a look at the col d’artharabu from escerencuby. before coming to the port de Larrau.
when climbing the izoard dont miss the valley to “les fonts” from cervieres. Beautiful!
“little st. bernhard” is directly at the iseran and much nicer than the big st. bernhard imho.
