Travel but no Gravel

It’s this time of the year I normally start to plan some riding the following year. Bored over Christmas I usually seek out Events to pop in my calendar plus I start looking at where I may go for my annual week away cycling too but so far nothing. I’ve provisionally got my Gravelton Events in the diary but that’s it at the moment. I’ve planned eight events for 2025 (March to November) with some new routes supplied by riders this year I’m looking forward to trying too. I think I’m just subconciously waiting to get back on the bike when I’ve recovered from my back injury and then I’ll have a better idea where I’ll be in terms of fitness.

However, having a partner with their own travel business means they are always keen to plan a holiday and 2025 is no exception. So far I’ve been pinned down and had my arm twisted into going to Mauritius in May, Toronto in October is booked plus a potential cruise is in the offing too. Life is tough sometimes LOL.

I’m not allowed to take my gravel bike to Mauritius for some reason

  1. Wishing you full recovery from your back injury in a reasonable time frame. Don’t give up on the back strengthening exercises, I have and just done myself a power of no good getting the Xmas decoration boxes out of the attic.
Back to the floor exercises, ibuprofen gel etc. for me.
